We specialize in afghan  and Eastern Mediterranean crochet and needlework. We have a variety of tablecloth and doilies in different patterns and sizes. All our crochet items are 100% handmade. If you like one of our patterns but you can't find it in the right size, please let us know. We will most likely be able to make it in the size, color, and shape you want. Even if we don't carry a pattern that you like, please give us a chance to make it for you before you buy it from somewhere else.

We also carry handmade, hand stitched, hand embroidered, or beaded tablecloth, table runners, and placemats in different patterns and colors. We also carry matching pillows and throws that make beautiful accent pieces. 

Since 2005, Medartisan has been providing our customers with authentic, handmade items from countries in the Mediterranean area. We are a small, family owned company, and pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service. The items we offer are produced in small quantities by skilled artisans in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, and other Mediterranean countries in many cases by families who have passed these skills down through many generations.

These are not the kind of items that you will find at the large import retail chain in your neighborhood. The large retailers do not buy in small quantities from individual artisans leaving those artisans struggling to make a living. Medartisan was established in part to help preserve these artisans' skills in Mediterranean countries and help keep their traditions alive so that they can pass it down to the next generation. We believe that educated customers like you will help us succeed because you understand and appreciate the importance of supporting original artists.
